If you enjoy history, this is the spot for you. The house and round barn are beautifully preserved, and the hosts have lots of information available to learn about it. The rooms were well-appointed and clean. The hosts put alot of thought into every detail which made our stay very comfortable. The baths had instant hot water, the coffee/tea bar was well stocked, and there was a fridge to put our dinner leftovers in. Breakfast was top-notch. We stayed during off-peak season- I can imagine how lovely the grounds must be in the summer. Historic Red Wing is a 5 minute drive away. We would definitely visit again

A warm, engaging B&B house with multiple spaces for gatherings. Our family Christmas event is up to 40 people and few places offer the space we need to have meals, chat in small groups, sing carols, go hiking or play cards. We all agreed this was perfect. The decor is traditional and elegant without being fussy. It's just a short drive from the Twin Cities for those who come for one evening. Highly recommend.

Lovely grounds and beautiful scenery all around. Close to Red Wing for entertainment and dining. Wendy also suggested some great hiking and scenic areas nearby. Room was wonderful. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The train was close but quaint, and they provided earplugs! Had easy and fun conversation with Kirk and Wendy. Delicious breakfast and treats. Such a great stay!

Round Barn Farm B&B was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful property and accommodations. Kirk and Wendy were incredibly kind and hospitable. Check in is 4-6pm but weren't able to check in until 6:30pm so we called ahead and Kirk said he'd be happy to wait for us until check in. We enjoyed delicious 3 course breakfast (fruit/yogurt parfait, rhubarb bread pudding alongside bacon wrapped baked eggs, followed by eclair with peppermint chocolate drizzle on top) cooked by Wendy; she was even able to sit with us and tell us the history of the property which was fascinating. The room we stayed in was incredibly clean and had wonderful natural light (also had in-room AC which was great). We have since recommended this place to friends and family and would love to stay there the next time we are in Minnesota.

We leave that decision up to our Brides and Grooms when they plan their day. There are no restrictions for children here for special events.
Not weddings. They have heaters in the outdoor pavilion, but it gets too cold in MN for most people to be comfortable. You could call them and ask depending on the event type and size what they can accommodate.
