In general dentist are not my favorite people to visit. I came to Elwood in search of molars, mine abandon me a while back except for two on the upper left. We have gotten to the point of temporaries and I can say my expectation have been meant and succeeded. The experience was that of a dental procedure which, in my case, is unique and I will not bore you with the details. I will tell you that the dentist and assistant were both exemplary in dealing with my teeth! Time for an update for have the gods of delay been hard at work. Workmenship is outstanding and unless the finals are inferior to these temps they have achieved what other dentists have refused to attempt. On the otherhand chair side manner is only good and using sorragotes to send bad news might better be delivered personally. A patient/dentist relationship during a procedure is a cultivated relationship and third person messages are better delivered within that relationship only if one is interested in moving from good to excellant in said area. Understand, the work performed thus far has been excellant and in this humble opinion with a slight improvment to chair side manner outstanding would be within reach.

Elmwood Dental is wonderful. Everyone is kind and professional. I've had different dentists there over the past couple of decades -- all have been excellent. Dr. Missy Belino has been my dentist for a few years now, and she is the best! She explains every step of every dental need and procedure, is reassuring and did some complex work/crowns that turned out beautifully. I trust Elmwood Dental for all of my dental needs. All of the staff are great, as well!

Hi Amanda, for dental treatment we see many United Health Care patients, they pay for the treatment up front and then we submit to their insurance and their insurance reimburses them directly for what they cover. If this is for medical (for a sleep apnea appliance) we would be able to get the cost of the appliance up front and you would pay the medical co-pay and then United would pay us directly for the balance.
