Doors don't work they are way to heavy for elderly and disabled individuals. Can't get papers filled out in a timely fashion for government programs. You have to hit the breaker almost every time to turn light on or off in the bathroom. The light and fan are on a timer and shuts off on you while in the shower. Due to covid only emergency fixes are being done. So learn how to change the light bulbs take metal grate out of locked door to clean the vent. It's super dusty in here. Looks like the building is on a sink hole, you can see where the walls are separated from floors with gaps. They cater to the disabled. They can violate lease numerous times and still nothing. Be prepared to listen to deaf people screams and wear ear plugs or headphones every time you want to sleep. The heavy doors slam shut, people are constantly yelling yo! And if you have problems with bleach stay away! They use raw bleach to clean the common areas and walk ways. I may have to move my ex out who has copd because of it. And there is no smoking inside but you can smell it come through the doors from people smoking while walking through halls. started out an awesome place to live but now that's its been open a few years now its just like living in any other hood! Guy face windows in corners of buildings to pee outside not going to lie its mostly blacks doing it when drinking. So if you have kids you might not want to stay on lower level.

Look alot of people in the comments gave great reviews yes are there people who do drug like smoke pot sure but amny of the people doing have kids, for the elderly comments if you want help with doors get yourself a home help aid so you have the extra help they'll also help your with your government program applications but other than that everyone needs to realize that this isnt jones court anymore this building has not been open for that long instead of complaining lets help our community out security is the best i Sherri she been excellent hopefully management will get some one else to help out since sherri is the only one in the leasing office. i just think a lot of people moved in with high expectations of the building and workers and are upset because those expectations have not been met. Either way me and my cousin christopher Holmes love our apartment in pod 4 i hope to be able to live out the rest of my days here. thanks libertad management and workers for giving people a place to call home

My mother is a tenant there at Libertad, and I have nothing but good things to say about the maintenance staff that's now in place. Far as, The Office Manager "Sherri" I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with my mother and I. Sherri is an amazing person and I give her much credit for the job that she does at Libertad.

Resided here before cornerstone took over they cared about their tenant's. This new company Cornerstone is the the worst. Maintenance guy pushes his weight around and love's to take photos in your unit is what I seen and heard doesn't give sufficient notice for nothing. Mail and packages come up missing. Roach infestati know his bon and other critters since back in da day. If you do not permit maintenance in they threaten with eviction. Libretad stand's for freedom off all races. Maintenance male is 22 year's old and don't even know how to screw a light bulb in. Management talks of others as well.

i have been told by sherrie she is the woman who works in the leasing office that section 8 and arbor housing is accepted. i also live in the libertad building so questions like this arent an i think its an i know
i live in libertad the price of your rent varies based off of the floor plan and how many bedrooms you get. 1bedrooms 40% 2bedrooms 50% for the smaller 60%for the larger 2 bedroom 3bedrooms are straight up 60% of your total income. so say you have the largest 2 bedroom floor plan and you get $841 for ssi your rent will be $621 i know this be cause that is how much my cousin pays currently. you would think that the rent would have been much lower for income based housing. But despite prices loctaion is great the people of great after living here a while the head of security, maintence, and sherrie who runs the leasing office all know me. all the staff treat everyone who lives here like family. so come take a look at the place its better then people have rated it
Just income based
Utilities are not included i live in libertad with my cousin we pay for nyseg just about everything is electric ive yet to see anything related to gas
