Excellent hardware store! Anytime I've gone, they always have everything I need, weather it's for plumbing for the filter and waterfall I have set up, or for the chains and attachments to hang a backyard tree swing, or fittings for running natural gas or hooking up electricity. Cinder blocks, mortar, hose attatchments, tools for every job, even cast iron pans! Very helpful and knowledgeable staff as well. And one of the best parts is that they're part of the neighborhood, and their sign out front is proof. And to top it all off, they now have non-ethanol gas! My go-to for whatever it is I'm working on!

This little hardware store often saves me a trip to the "big box stores". They usually have what I need, carry brand name and private label products, and inventory is good. Staff helpful. I usually check here first.

One of the best examples of how a small, local, long established hardware store is better than national chain stores for the DIYer. Obviously they've spent years picking out the right inventory.. For instance you might find exactly the plumbing fixture you need, because homes around the area were built with them, and they learned to stock them. Really nice and knowledgeable folks there, and a great candy selection too for the kids.
