Our family visited Shark Tooth Creek because it popped up on the dark sky map as being a place far away from most light pollution. However, we called ahead and Mr. Ken told us all about the activities that go on during the tour and so we brought our whole family and some friends with little ones. We camped outside in a nice, clean area with immediate access to showers, bathrooms, pavilion, and some deluxe propane cooking grills. He also allowed us to fish his catfish ponds and we caught several 2-4 pounders all day. That evening we enjoyed the night sky in the darkness a New Moon provides, with breathtaking views. The next morning we loaded up, cooked breakfast, and listened to Mr. Ken's presentation before going down to the creek to pick up fossilized shark teeth. On the return to camp, the kids and even parents played and swam before calling it a day. Hope the best of success for Mr. Ken and recommend Shark Tooth Creek to anyone who'll listen until we return ourselves for some more night sky views.

Our family, including me(grandmother), son , daughter-in-law, and three grandkids , ages 15, 11, and 7, loaded up the car and drove 2 hours to Shark Tooth Creek for the day. Mr. Ken, the very entertaining and informative host, took us in a cattle trailer to the creek for a fun and refreshing search for shark teeth left behind many eons ago. The creek is so beautiful that you sometimes forget about the shark teeth. After eating our lunches that we brought with us , other activities were fun for the family too. Our visit lasted from 9:30 until 2:30 . Highly recommend!!
