The food was good. Three stars for amount of food. 4 pieces of cubed salmon and 5 pieces of jumbo shrimp not worth the price.

Every single dish we ate was superb. I loved the coconut and saffron naan. The owner was delightful, very generous, and accommodating. It’s an unassuming restaurant with a treasure of delicious food and kind people inside. Do yourself a favor and try it!

Hi We are an alcohol free restaurant,
Edit: the owner confirmed that it's all zabiha halal! I believe they are, but I'd make a phone call to be sure if that was important to me. There's certainly no pork, but the menu does include classic meats I enjoy which are halal, such as goat.
Many authentic indian cuisine food stuffs are both gluten and dairy free.
Unlike many similarly sized restaurants, Shalimar is not open to indoor dining, so better than most. All of the staff I have seen are wearing masks and social distancing.
