It's a pretty decent place to stay. The whole reason we go is for the pool and it's starting to go down hill. The filtration system didn't seem to be working as it should. The waterfall lagoon was turned off and the pool is showing its age. At least the slide was in operation, the kids really enjoy that. I think the pool just needs better maintenance and a little sprucing up. The rooms are nice, the restaurants on site are really good and the entertainment was fun. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Overall a great stay.

The hotel itself is pretty awesome. The pool is amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly.. However, for the price they charge, they should at least have free coffee, and breakfast. Not "hotel room coffee". And they only provide one caffeinated coffee pouch . You have to call and ask for another. The pillows are feather and are absolutely amazing, the bed was terribly uncomfortable and the blanket felt like it was enclosed in a plastic cover . We booked with three wedding parties unknown to us at the time and they were incredibly loud and rowdy all night. Overall it is a very nice hotel, but I will probably not stay here again.

We had a great time for girls weekend getaway. Check in was quick, hotel was clean, beds were cozy. Hot tub and indoor pool had tons of kids at night so no relaxing. But that was OK. Breakfast downstairs was delicious. Omelets were amazing.

We recently stayed for 3 nights for a little getaway and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a great location for many attractions and the downtown area. We had drinks at Swampers (faster service if you sit at the bar) and there was live music each evening. We also dined at 360 and had a nice meal and experience. If it had been warm out, the pool area would have been great to enjoy. Super friendly staff all around. We will definitely return.

The shoals Marriott has several different suites, one celebrates the local music scene and has a jukebox in it! There are packages available for local tours and tourist destinations. Check the website for availability. And they have one of the top-rated spas in the industry. Providing an array of services that includes massages, manicures and pedicures, facials, haircuts, etc, all in a wonderful soothing environment.
You should be able to see fireworks from there. The actual fireworks is shot from the spirit of Freedom celebration in McFarland Park
There is a jacuzzi there that is open to use spring/fall & winter but don't think the pool is heated.
I did look on their website. That's why I was asking.
We love Florence. I moved away from the area about 14 years ago but we go back to visit once or twice a year. Downtown has many great shops. UNA has Leo the Lion (4 or 5 not sure what number we are on) Lots of great restaurants. We love 360. Ricatonis is where we went on our first date. Martins is a local chain.
Depends on what type of massage, as they offer many. I think they start at about $70 and then go up. They also offer spa packages that save a little money.
Although Mr. Frankie could have worded his response in a more pleasant manner. I would have to agree with him. But when/if you visit again, do make sure to try the breakfast they sell. Its quite good.
