I brought my cat in who had an abscess on his cheek. They took exceptional care of him and he had a speedy recovery. THANK YOU!!

CSU is such a wonderful place to take your pet when it is sick. They helped me give my dad's dog the best care. When my new dog got sick and we found out she had diabetes CSU was on the spot it was in the middle of the night emergency. She received Immediate Care and the staff was very nice compassionate understanding and answered all of my in this questions. I would definitely recommend CSU to anybody. I drove from another town to Fort Collins just so she could have the best of care and she did. She made it through and now we know how to treat diabetes in a dog properly. They really helped me understand the procedures well and how to notice the dog changes and what to look out for. I will definitely be back for the best care in the county. Thank you so much for all you do.

I wish I would have brought my cat here in the 1st place. The people here were very understanding and explained everything in detail.

I had a major emergency with a bearded dragon in October 2021and the wonderful staff here including Ms. Locklear did an amazing job caring for our lizards fracture. They built him a splint. It took a few months of nursing him at home, but he’s strong like bull! He’s still with us today thanks to this place! It was about an hour drive for us but I don’t think anybody in the state could’ve done with these guys did for us! Yes, I recommend Colorado state teaching hospital for your exotics!

Give them a call for accurate prices...they are very friendly
They don't have payment plans and offer discounts to state employees. Otherwise, they do take Care Credit.
Call them.. for correct information on this.
Call them or get on the website...they are very helpful
Try AVECCC in Gilbert. If they can't help, they'll know who can.
Yes, there is a dentistry department. You can also be seen through our community practice service which is similar to visiting a general veterinary practice. Call the main number and ask for either department to consult with their technicians.
Yes, they do. But need to set up an appointment.
Give them a call for correct pricing.
Call them for to get more accurate prices. Check the website out also. They were very caring and kind. . During our situation
Yes, we do TPLO surgery.
In my experience, they estimate what the visit will cost (assuming there is a hospital stay)...low end and high end. You pay 80 percent of the low end and if the cost ends up being less than the low end you will get a refund.

While studies are being worked on for CBD usage in dogs, we are still mainly in the "figuring out how safe it is and if it does anything" part of research. We cannot prescribe it, and do not dispense it. CBD is not FDA approved and each company can put whatever they want in it, so you need to get a certificate of analysis (which is only useful from reputable labs). Please see a vet for a diagnosis and approved therapy first, and consider CBD only as an adjunct to main therapy.
In the area of $1400 for a bulldog. They seem to be more.
Call them right now! Don't delay!
CSU has a CBD clinical trial taking place. They also have an excellent optometry dept. I would seek their help.
I’d like to first add that we are not new to the school as have brought in 2 previously owned family dogs. They received top notch care, love and correct diagnosis. We have nothing but praise for the school, even the prices at th time. So when we took we took our heathy 4yr old 13lb silky terrier in for his first cleaning (without any complications) and came out with a bill for over $900, we were shocked! We paid over $700 before my husband had an a near fatal accident & hospitalized; we were placed into collections for the remainder! Surprisingly, whomever we spoke to said they would not negotiate. Sadly we are not able to bring our pets back to the Colorado Veterinary School.
You should contact a veterinarian to ask your question
You call a veterinarian or Pet Poison Control to have that question answered!
Garter snakes are not venomous.
Call to find out!
Bring your dog to the vet. This is not the place to ask for medical advice.
I cannot answer the question about neutering. If you contact CSU they would be able to tell you over the phone. About the dental work, I would ask for an estimate on cost. Our cat goes to CSU for specialty care and I was surprised to find out it was cheaper at our regular vet in Boulder.
