Just bad !!!! 24 hours After I get a manicure with my wife I had a massive infection on my finger. Doctor told me that it was most likely due to dirty tools. Not only is this place over priced but the infection in my hand is unbelievable. I have asked around and other people in the neighborhood told me they’ve had problems

I have been coming here since they opened their Skokie location, and in the beginning everything was good for my appointments, I am the customer who comes every 2-3 weeks. I started noticing that though I would have a scheduled appointment, I would find myself waiting 10-20 minutes very often, I didn’t say much because my understand they get busy, but at some point the business needs to be respectful of your time and appointment. Recently, I had an awful experience, the manager, Hellen, sat me down to get my nails soaked off, which typically is there way of “taking” you in at your appointment time, but reality is they don’t have a tech available. I sat down for 25 minutes, when with a tech it would of taken 5-10 minutes to soak and remove dip nails. Not only that but they told me they could do a design and half way through them being done, they said they couldn’t. At this point I was already frustrated with their service. I told Hellen, I had been waiting for a while during my appointment and she did not show she cared at all. She raised her voice at me, and told me, “I don’t know what you want me to do.” She showed no empathy or respect for me as a customer. While they were finishing up, I saw another customer who had been waiting for 20 plus minutes with an appt. as well, I could tell that customer was also frustrated. I recommended this place to many friends and family who have had similar issue happen to them. On top of it, they tried to charge me for a service I never requested. And ended up discounting $10 to “even” it out. She threatened to call the cops for no reason, while I spoke to her on the phone. When I asked Hellen, if I could speak to Tony***, the owner, she said he was on vacation, once I reached out again, she said Tony did not want to speak to me. This place has gotten worse over time, and for someone who went every 2-3 weeks it says a lot. Hellen is the most unprofessional front desk manager, and overbooks all the time. People make appointments and 5 minutes is understandable but 20 minutes or so, is just disrespectful to the customer. The employees always look overworked and tired. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE YOU WILL BE WAITING, YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME WILL NOT BE RESPECTED, AND THEY WILL TRY TO CHARGE YOU MORE THAN YOUR SERVICE. I KNOW OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALSO GONE TO ANOTHER BUSINESS BECAUSE OF THE SAME ISSUE. THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! TONY WHAT A SHAME TO NOT WANT TO SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER OF YEARS WHO WANTED TO PROVIDE FEEDBACK ON THE SERVICE OF YOUR EMPLOYEE AND A CUSTOMER WHO HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. & GOING FORWARD PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR MANAGER DOES NOT THREATEN A CUSTOMER FOR NO REASON, BEFORE SOMEONE DOES TAKE LEGAL ACTION.
