I moved here a year ago and now they want to close this facility down! They should just move the nursing units elsewhere and leave the independent living units alone. I have family and friends close by and they want me to leave them and my familiarity behind and move somewhere a few hundred miles away. We have enough homeless veterans already, closing this home will create a few more! Please keep our home open!

Can veterans schedule a ride to Loma Linda for doctor appointments even if they don't live in the veterans home but live in Barstow?
Wife has to be with husband to move in. Once in if husband passes away wife can still stay at the home. We have a few widows here that's been here for years. Hope that helps.
