This place will take everything you own and your payment too then tell you you have no insurance ! How did I ever leave that place without insurance ? I would never trust a storage facilitiy let alone a U-Haul storage facility,, u haul only takes your things, shame on U-Haul discusting business practices's at best ! Don't use haul unless your in to losing even my husband's ashes gone, but good to no I have no insurance rite lol lol sick game !

Uhaul as a business, at least in the San Bernadino area, is trash these days. Do not use. I made a "reservation" with credit card a month prior to my requested move from Irwin to texas. Then confirmed, in person, a week prior at the barstow main street location, where I was told everything was on track. . A day and a half before my pickup date, I was informed that there were no trailers available. When I inquired why I had been given a reservation in the first place, the San B dispatcher suggested that perhaps they used to have one, then didnt.... amazed that they are still in business. I suppose as long as folks continue to use them, they will be able to get away with it. When I asked to speak with an actual manager, I was informed "he was in a meeting", but I could try to call back. Never again making the mistake of planning on their business. Cost me 1700 dollars in a last minute transport arrangement. I will forever advise anyone I speak to not to use their services.

I called to inquire about pricing and Brittany was rude and tried her hardest to be patronizing but was unable to do so. If you choose to rent a vehicle from them, the price is the same from one to 24 hours. They attempt to make more money by asking you how long you will need the vehicle (so they can rent to someone else) even though they do not provide a discount for using the vehicle for less than 24 hours, and will charge you if you go OVER the "time block". Rent the vehicle for a full 24 hours and return the vehicle before the 24 hours is up and do NOT let them rent the vehicle to someone else during YOUR 24 hours. They do not give a discount for returning early, but will charge you for being late (even if you are still within your 24 hours but over your time block) and if you ask any questions, they not only cannot answer them, but they literally say "because we are told to say that". Uhaul is aware of people's needs to rent vehicles to move. We all try our hardest to estimate the time it will take us to move and we should not be punished for giving the wrong estimate. Charging your customer for not gi0ving the right time is dissemination and prejudicial. We all try our hardest to move as quickly and efficiently as possible. There are things that may come up that prohibits that. Rushing customers also rushes the representative and does not allow for the proper time to check the returned vehicle over, can cause charges the customer did not incur, and provides disgusting customer service. You are taking advantage of your customers and treating us poorly so you can try and make an extra buck.

You'd have to talk to Barstow Uhaul if you could store at least one container there. Their lot is really small and from what I've seen there is absolutely no space for more than one of those sea containers. So be prepared to hear a "no".
