I spent 6 weeks calling dentists in three counties attempting to get an appointment due to a bad abscess which had developed suddenly Not only was I told no one could get me in for 6+ months, none of them cared. Until McLaren. McLaren office team was kind and courteous - worked to get me an appointment around my work schedule and genuinely listened. The hygienist/assistant was patient and kind. I don’t have a fear of the dentist - just their judgment as I’ve had some medical realities which have weakened my dental health and caused the need for more restorative work than usual. Dr. McLaren, however, expressed only compassion and concern. Was thorough in exam and explanation and unhurriedly expressed next steps and answered questions. I was extremely pleased and would gladly recommend.

This was the first time there, and the staff was very helpful and caring!! The dentist I saw was great, looked at everything I had done and made me happy with his positive attitude. I will be going back to them next week. I need dentures and they made me feel comfortable with the process. Would recommend!!

I needed to find a new dentist after mine retired but my insurance isn't widely accepted. I was scared to see what my options would be. I could hardly believe it when I found this place. If you read the bios on the website you'll see these doctors are extraordinarily educated and accomplished. The ladies behind the front desk are very welcoming and my hygienist does a fantastic job looking for issues and always listens. The doctors come in and get right down to business, which I like. The building is clean and beautiful. I'm extremely grateful to these highly qualified professionals for being willing to care for the less wealthy. This place has given me peace of mind knowing I can trust the quality of the care I'm getting. Thank you McLaren! It means so much.

We accept most major insurances including BCBS, Guardian, United Concordia, Humana, and many others. We participate (as a participating provider) with Delta, Cigna, Metlife, Healthy Kids, and Aetna. We do not accept Adult Medicaid unfortunately. If you do not see your dental insurance listed, please call us at 989-631-7880!
Yes we take Aetna dental and by August 2020 should be a participating provider (PPO) with Aetna. Thank you!

We would suggest considering either Helping Hands Dental Clinic in Midland or the next Mission of Mercy Dental Day in Michigan: (www.michigandental.org/foundation/Mission-of-Mercy). The dentists at our clinic have provided donated dental services through the Mission of Mercy which helps low income patients to get free basic dental care.
