Was quoted $40. to shorten sleeves on simple winter coat. I can do it myself but I don't have time. They have their machine all set up it should take less than 15 minutes. Outrageous!

I would not recommend using for any form of alterations. I needed a bridesmaid gown altered and I called 2 months ahead of time and she made it sound like we had plenty of time so I made an appointment with her. When I showed up she was super nice and quick, took measurements, and I was on my way. Made an appointment to pick up the dress and when I got there she was still working on the dress and explained to me that she had another customer that kept bothering her to get something done so she didn’t get to mine in time. So because I was polite with her my dress didn’t get done?? Kind of backwards to me, but I was polite with her and the dress needed to be taken in more so she made more measurements and I made another appointment to pick up the dress only a few days before it had to be done. When I got there for my appointment she didn’t answer the door. Since I was a few minutes early, I went and sat in my car until the appointment time. Then 5 minutes after the scheduled appointment time I knocked some more and still no answer. Then I called to let her know I was outside and she claimed she didn’t hear me knocking. So she came to answer the door and then said the dress still wasn’t done. Why would you let me show up and not call to let me know it wasn’t done!?!? What a waste of my time. So I told her the only time I could pick it up with her was the next day. She didn’t get it finished until 8:30pm the next day. The dress ended up being too short even though she measured the hem TWICE! All of her excuses consisted of her having medical issues, which I totally understand, but that doesn’t mean you don’t call and communicate with the customer and waste their time because they are waiting around for you. Please do not waste your time taking anything of importance to this woman, she will just give you excuse after excuse!
