I am new to the area and I stumbled upon this Bakery & Cafe. Delicious fresh food all the time. The pastries are amazing. Piece of advice, due to the business being constantly busy, expect waiting time being longer than usual. This concern was communicated to the staff. They were very understanding. Other than that I will continue to visit this location.

This question is for the owner. Would you be interested in having someone to assist you in the bakery for the summer? Im planing on going into the baking industry but first wanted to get some hands on experience.

I don't think they do all the baking in that location since it is a branch. You will definitely get some experience if you convince them to hire you with no experience. Perhaps you enter as a customer service since they always need help. That is my opinion. Good luck

It’s the same family. Cao is actually their last name. Just a happy accident that it fit in with the Cuban American Original thing. These locations are more than just bakeries, they offer more things like pan con bisté, etc. Plus you have all the wannabe Vicky’s i.e. Viki & Bicky, they wanted to distinguish themselves.

I would like to ship an assorted pastry box & Cuban bread to Sarasota for my brother on his birthday. Do you ship?

Im American so maybe I'm not understanding something... are all the cakes supposed to be soggy??? What can I order that doesn't feel like a soaked sponge from the sink?

This is not soggy..the cake is very good.

The service is very good, I just bought a chessecake flan that was not on the counter and the lady immediately went to ask if they had done to take it to the front and sell me that is very good because she cares that the customer leaves satisfied.
