Management needs to step in and train the associates in this store. My cousin and I went to another sketchers location in New York. He signed up online at got the 20% coupon code which is supposed to be used online. The manager in the New York store was very professional and applied the coupon for us in store. That is how you build a clientele. I was visiting the apple store in Christiana mall and decided to stop at sketchers. I also signed up but the associates at this store refused to use the code and kept demanding a barcode. I then said that’s fine, I’ll use the coupon code online but can I try out shoes to know my size? They asked my size and then said we don’t have any shoes above size 8 in stock. I’m assuming sketchers has commission based sales so the associates didn’t even want to bother helping us because we were going to order online.
