Within two days of buying a new BMW X5 a truck kicked up a stone and chipped my windshield right in front of my face. The chip was relatively tiny but due to the location was very distracting especially in the sun. My insurance said the chip was too small to repair, and that they “must” replace the entire windshield via safelite. I took the car to Delaware Auto Glass for a second opinion because this didn’t seem right to me, and without an appointment they were able to look at my car and were very honest; explaining why replacing a factory seal for something like this would be a lower quality solution. The tech was able to smooth and patch the windshield so that the mark was no longer shiny and noticeable in front of my face while driving. The quality of the work is immaculate, and I highly recommend Delaware Auto Glass over any alternative. The tech and the office were both extremely kind and helpful. I was in and out in only a few minutes and can now continue with my life not worrying about this chip anymore or having to deal with my insurance company. Thank you!
