17 months to get a voter card.

On hold for over an hour, which to be fair is understandable, they must be busy, but what ticked me off is the person who answered the phone, they were very impolite, they seemed annoyed throughout the entire phone call, they were very disrespectful. It's not my fault your job is based on taking phone calls, just because your having a bad day doesn't mean you have to spread it to other people. I'm just trying to do my job too, do you think I wanna sit there and wait to get a verification of employment to only be greeted by someone with a snarky and annoyed attitude after waiting on the phone for over 72 minutes. Lighten up, your life isn't that bad

I needed a copy of my marriage certificate and Paul helped me. He was kind, patient and generous to me over the phone. We need more people like that.

My fiancée and I got our marriage license here today. Paul helped us and he was tremendously kind, informative and easy to work with. When I called him a few weeks ago to setup an appointment, he was very easy to communicate with. We are so happy to be getting married and it has made it an even better process with steps like this one being made easy by people like Paul. Thank you!

I am a registered voter abd didn't receive a mail-in ballot.
Salt Lake County Recorder's Office
Not sure, you can go to 2100 south and state and, vote early I do believe.
You do not need an appointment to buy a license. You do need an appointment for a ceremony. The application is available on the Clerk's website and your process will go faster if you are able to fill it out before coming in to the office.
You have to go to the county clerks office on 21st and state. I think its 20
The Salt Lake County Clerk is open M-F from 8-5pm. It is closed on state holidays and weekends.
You would go through the Utah Court system and xan do the process yourself or have a lawyer help you. Here is the info and forms you need https://www.utcourts.gov/howto/family/adoption/stepchild/
No - you will need to mail in your ballot rather than deposit it in a county other than where you live.
I would not recommend doing that as these boxes are not checked regularly.
In order to change party affiliation you can go online to vote.utah.gov, as long as you have a valid UT driver's license, or come down to our offices and fill out a new voter registration form.
Lots of different organizations perform voter registration drives. For verification purposes, a voter registration form will ask for either the last four digits of your social or your Utah DL or ID number. The Clerk's office does not send people door to door to register voters.
Yes, you can take pictures and about 10 people fit comfortably in the ceremony room.
Yes, if you have an appointment.
Yes, the Clerk's office provides certified copies of marriage licenses issued from Salt Lake County going back to the late 1800s.
Your marriage license comes with two certified copies. They will be sent to the address specified when you fill out the application.
A marriage license is $50. Ceremonies are performed by appointment and are also $50.
