Amazing, though I did not go inside fenced in dog park, just huge trail. Midnight is my son's 43lb 9 mo old standard poodle who has yet to be socialized in such a large dog park setting. She loved her first time on the trail exploring everything pretty much to herself without running into any other dogs on the 1mile trail we took. So grateful this is available to us Saratogians!
friggin' tourist
The park itself is not bad but some of the people there make the experience less pleasant. I will not be going there again as i got ganged up on by a couple of boomer karens after about 45 minutes when one of my dogs tried to engage in appropriate play with theirs. even though my dogs were not doing anything wrong, the owners got hostile towards me and someone who had just arrived chimed in. One of the karens got in my face and was threatening to hit me as well.

My husband takes or dog here each week, & they have so much fun. Everyone is expected to clean up after their dog (& they do), so it's clean & not smelly. Separate area for small dogs. Great time for socialized dogs to run & play together. Fortunately, haven't seen any badly behaved/ violent dogs

It's near the Dance Museum. Kitty corner from it.
Yes, there is a large fenced in area for all dogs and a separate smaller fenced in area for small dogs only.
No fee for the park. BYO bags and water, which becomes communal.
Its up to the state park when they mow. They let some of it go
