Fun little splash pad! My kids loved it. I do wish there was a little more shade, there are some trees, but you may want to bring your own. Also keep in mind that there's a grate that will swallow any small toys if they flow down the stream!

The Highland splash pad is fine. There are public restrooms, handicap parking, and plenty of benches to sit and watch your kids on. It's a sour point for most locals due to the tremendous amount of debt the city waltzed into to build the splash pad, New city hall, and library. However, at least it's getting used.

This splash pad has a fun stream along with a circular pad. It is big enough for older kids and small kids. We love the grass all around as well.

Great place for a picnic date on a Friday night!

Not pet friendly. Someone else had a dog, so we thought it was fine, but when we showed up with our pup the city worker immediately ran over and told us no dogs in the park at all. Guess they didn't see the dog sitting 10 feet away, but I wasn't going to rat them out and ruin their fun since their dog want causing any problem. The worker said it was because of the health department, but I don't buy it because the other splash pads let you bring your dog in as long as they don't go in the water.
The water is timed to go off for 15 minutes every hour to encourage kids to stop and take bathroom breaks. It probably goes off around the :45 of each hour instead of the top of the hour....and that probably is the same when it turns off for cleanings...not that big of a difference than what is stated on their website to throw a fuss about
