Corrupted

This state attorneys office does not want to listen to any issues from the residents, they protect bad contractors over consumers, along with the UT lien recovery board who led us on for months then turned favor over to the corrupt party. Costing us more money. People in the office who answer the phone are rude and unhelpful and no response to emails. You should have less stars! Shame on you for not even trying to step in to help!

Why is it that physical abuse is considered in a case where emotional abuse, which is MUCH worse, is dismissed? Such seems to be the case in some of the smaller district courts, at least. Changes MUST be made. Perhaps an investigation?

Dear Mr. Williams, Thank you for contacting the Utah Attorney General's Office. Our office represents state entities, so we are prohibited by law to give legal counsel or interpret the law regarding your concern. Our office also does not oversee judges. However, we recommend contacting the Judicial Conduct Commission regarding your question. The JCC shall investigate and conduct confidential hearings regarding complaints against state, county, and municipal judges throughout the state. Following its investigations and hearings, the JCC may recommend to the Utah Supreme Court the reprimand, censure, suspension, removal, or involuntary retirement of any state, county, or municipal judge. I was issued a garnishment on my wages from a collection agency on a debt accrued over eight years ago. It was based on my Wells Fargo account. An account that has been mine for 22 years and is in good standing. 3rd district court garnished me

Can a NYC law firm collect a debt from an individual who resides in the State of Utah

Utah Attorney General's Office | Oct 1, 2018

Dear Ms. Campbell, Thank you for contacting the Utah Attorney General's Office. Our office is prohibited by law to interpret the law or give legal counsel. However, we recommend contacting two places. We recommend contacting the Utah Division of Consumer Protection. The Division of Consumer Protection is where constituents may file a formal complaint against any business practicing in the State of Utah. They will look into your complaint and if others have filed a complaint, an investigation could be possible. We also recommend contacting the New York State Bar. The New York State Bar Association has jurisdiction over all attorneys practicing in the sate of New York. We recommend contacting them to verify if the law firm is legitimate, and they can walk you through the process of filing a complaint. We trust this information will be helpful to you moving forward!
