Stopped by to enjoy some dinner from good old Crown burger. The park itself seems nice enough,although I decided to stay in my car due to the many homeless hanging out. Iam not sure that I would go walking around the park or attempt to use the restrooms. But that's just me. Iam not berating the homeless as they are simply trying to survive but they tend to bring the property values down and make the park less family friendly. I noticed a few places up on the hill on the east side of park had folks camping out.

LOVE this park. Also a dog park, separate from the main park. It's never been packed, lots of parking space for the location and size. Water fountains that always work, different size fountains and a water bottle fountain. Close to the mountains and very peaceful.

If you brought your own I'm sure it's fine but there's no pre built park ones.
It's a city park. There are no designated picnic areas.
No the old hospital still stands . its on the west side of beck st directly across the street from the park . the park has had indoor hot springs for as far back as i have been here and i was borrn in the hospital in 1956
