A wonderful park with some nice trails that lead down to Utah Lake! My dog loves every minute at this park!

The truly outdoor elements to this public space is top notch. Walking paths, a pond, various types of scenery from manicured grass to natural pasture. What always baffles/confuses me (and my kids) is why this area doesn't have a playground. There is plenty of space for it in the grassy section.

Northlake park is a great place to come with the family and spend a good times playing games or going for a walk or even a bike ride. The view is breathtaking, calming and relaxing.

Best lake access for paddleboard or kitesurf on the whole north half of the lake, and it's free, unlike marinas. A couple different trails lead from the park to the lake, and the reeds/grass have been cut recently so there's no overgrowth (other access points in years past have had an 8 foot wall of reeds). Early July 2022, water temp was about 76, very nice temp.

Yes I did see a dog while I was there.
I've never seen anyone do that here, and it's pretty small I'm not sure you'd want to. That said, I don't recall any signs saying you can't, only that you can't go in the water. There is a path though on the south eastern end of the park that leads to the lake, so you could carry your things there if you wanted. Might not be worth it if it's heavy!
There are carp of course. There are also Large mouth Bass, white bass, bluegill, and gold fish.
