Spring hills was not only beautiful but some of the staff was so caring. The aide Julie was so nice to my aunt who only spoke Portuguese. While there was a language barrier they always checked on her to make sure she was taken care of. Therapy was attentive in laying her goals out for her to get her walking again.

Recently my elderly mother with dementia went for rehabilitation at Spring Hill for some broken bones suffered during a fall. I want to praise and thank some outstanding staff members for their hard work and dedication to the patients and their excellent communication with me about my mother’s condition. First, Priya the director of social work had impeccable bed side manner during our stay. She was so helpful and a true professional. She is the biggest asset to this facility in my opinion. Thank you for your help and kindness. You are an amazing person. To Poonam and Odette, I really appreciate your hard work and care of taking care of my mom for OT and PT. To Melissa, the Director of Rehabilitation, thank you for your weekly reports of my mother. You are a true class act. Thank you so much to nurses “Q” and Parette, you are both amazing caregivers. You are very valuable to Spring Hill. You should be truly recognized for your hard help. Matulla, the night manger, I thank you for always picking up the phone at night to let me know how my mom was doing. To Princess “Diana” one of our CNA who helped my mom be clean, she was always happy when she saw you. Physicians, Dr Zelener and her team were so approachable, sweet and caring and took great care of my mom. I would have given a 5 star rating except there were a few times I had to stand up to the Administrator in charge and advocate for my mother’s best interests when it should not have been necessary. While these were not life threatening issues, they were important to me and my requests should not have been disregarded. It was unprofessional, rude and disrespectful to treat the concerns of the family with such a flippant attitude. Please advocate for your loved one when going to any facility as with the staff shortage and aides able to help in a timely manner you must make sure your loved one is safe and cared for at all times.

My own experiences here at The Atrium has been stellar. The private rooms are roomy and clean with large bath, refrigerator and the staff is friendly and compassionate. My Mom stayed here a few years ago. She calls it the country club of rehab in the area. At 94, she should know.

The staff is very unprofessional with nasty attitude. They are not attentive to there patients.
