Unbelievably rude, don't waste your time. I walked to the door to ring the bell to be let in, waited a few minutes for the shop owner to walk to the front and open the door. He asked if I had a mask which I realized I left in my car and could have easily grabbed. Before I even had a chance to answer he asked me if I was looking for anything specific. I was antiquing so you never know what you're going to find...I said no, would just would like to look around. He shook his head, said "no" and shut the door in my face. I will never go back there. Too bad he clearly doesn't care about selling his wares. No wonder the shop always looks the way it does.

I found this store very nice, the owner very personable and knowledgable about every piece I was interested in ( I have been into antiques for years and have my home decorated Victorian) I did make a purchase, and found the price to be a few dollars under antique value, good for me. I was quite taken back about the other reviews having to do with racial issues? I was not the only person in the store, the owner was curtious and polite, as usual a Great Shopping experience in ALL the stores in Chestnut Hill! A+👍

I suggest you call Gerry or Barbara tomorrow. If they don't have this item in the store, they may very well be able to get one for you.
