I went in 2004. I'm sure the staff may be different. I was a troubled youth to say the least. I got haircuts, sat on the bench, on G.I.s more than I'd like to remember. The thing was it wasn't them that was the problem. It was ME!!!!! I have almost 18 yrs now. And that hard and sometimes hated place helped me change what was the problem. ME. Once I listened to why instead of what they were doing. . it made me a much better person. I got my family back. I worked and got my self-respect back

i was a client in damon house and in my opinion i believe if you really want the help this program will help you ! though its crowed and rooms are packed!! its a place where you can learn alot and find a way to deal with your emotions / problems! the staff is respectful and fair , i was there 5 months and saw more clients complet and recover then absconde or get arrested ! the visit schedule sucks the rooms need to be modified new ceeling tiles switches , outlets new couches and new toilets or better plumbing !! eveyrhting alse you can most deff learn how to deal with it ! SHOTS OUT TOO LARRY BRYANT , ROB BRONSON AND RASHI JAIN !! For always being genuine , helpful and for giving all clients courage with ur wisdom and knowledge !
