A trail reclaimed from land by a sewer treatment plant and a path by a Supermarket. YET a pleasant walk and a great view of the river.

This is a nice walk, especially with the dog. We leave from a little path off of the Westgate parking lot. Turning left takes you to Thompson's Point. If you go right, be sure to bring a leash. You will need to cross some streets before entering the sanctuary.

Beautiful wildflowers and nice, groomed crushed stone path. Disappointingly, the "Sanctuary Path" ends at the river, with a sign stating the water is designated for "sewage overflow." Additionally, no clear parking - we walked from the athletic fields - and graffiti in several spots.
