The decor is lively and very enjoyable, creating the right atmosphere for this place, even if a bit too loud at times. The food was good, maybe a bit on the pricier side, but we enjoyed it. We did not get drinks, but ultimately for a Mexican restaurant it's a solid choice.

Food was outstanding. Bartender/server was great. Atmosphere was good. I also enjoyed the old school reggaeton being played in the back while they were cooking the food. That’s how you know your food is about to come out tasting amazing.

This place should be on your list if or not you are from portland. Visited this cute place on our weekend trip. Was packed even at 4pm. We got the chips and guacamole that tasted amazing. Perfectly seasoned. The proportion of chips to gauc was off. We had way more chips but I guess you could always order more dips. We ordered the chorizo torta. Flavours were on point. We also ordered the puffy tacos with shrimp and chorizo. Both were mildy flavoured and tasted amazing. The star of the meal were the churros. They were the most crispy ones I have ever had and were served with a caramel or toffee sauce. The staff was amazing and welcoming. They kept checking on you without feeling that they are interrupting you every now and then.

Delicious, authentic, and affordable Mexican restaurant in the heart of downtown Portland. Hip atmosphere that is small but welcoming. We spent way less on our tacos, beans, and rice, than we expected because of how good and filling the portions were. Go for a bite or a cool bar.

They are not open 24 hours.
It's on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant adjacent to Congress St. There is limited space.
You should probably go back to Texas if you can't understand what's happening with the Portland food scene. None of the nationally acclaimed restaurants here are trying to be authentic.
Called 6/2018 Was told everything on the menu is Gluten Free except: -Burrito and Quesadilla wraps -Churros -Pozole I'm assuming Tacos are safe judging from other answers.
