Well if you just got the system then the tech told me its because its a new battery and that icon will eventually go away. That happened to me and the light went away after a few days.
You would need to call the office and inquire. I am not sure sales would be able to answer more sufficiently

Existing when we bought the house. Current company would not help me without a three year contract. Smith Thompson came out, checked out the system and explained it to us. They set up monitoring without a contract. I am very pleased.
I guess they currently service only in Texas and Arizona
