We bought several pastries from a stand at the train station attraction at Jim Thorpe. None of them were great, specially the elephant ear. If anyone has ever had an Italian People's bakery elephant ear, then you know why those at this bakery are so bad. They are super flaky, dry, and have a ton of sugar covering the whole thing, which sticks all over your teeth as you try to take a bite. That over the top sugar covering takes over the taste of the actual flaky bread part, so it isn't enjoyable. It's possible we got a bad batch, so I may update this, if it's better another time. Meanwhile, I highly recommend Italian People's bakeries; they are excellent 👌🏽

Ate several pastry at JIm Thorpe station. They were the freshest and so good loved them, wish were closer :( i may take a drive over from NJ one of these days very soon..
