Many of our UMC churches believe the GC2019 decision was wrong and that is why we at Elm Park UMC say "All are welcome"! No matter the outcome to us it doesn't matter who you are or if you are LGBTQ you are still welcome to worship and be apart of our church. Many of the U.S.A and Europe UMC churches are working hard to change the decision. So to us the statement is true because we follow it.

There is a good pantry, it is open every Wednesday from 10am to noon. You would need to bring ID and something with your present address on it. We only cover central and south Scranton but if you don't live in those areas we could direct you to the pantry that covers your area
