Your fishing license is required to fish anywhere. But it is free if you are a Fla resident it an on-shore fishing license. If your between the age of 16-65 yrs old you need it and the game warden will fine you if you don't have it. If you plan on fishing on a boat just get your salt water license and you can use that both on and off shore.
