Worst hotel I’ve stayed at and unfortunately at worst possible time evacuating from Hurricane Ian. How horrible is this hotel? Let me count the ways: 1. Literally takes two humans 10 minutes each to check anyone in. Massive line to check in at all times. Never more than one line. 2. Severely under staffed whether full of evacuatees or not because one line to check in, one lady working the bar and taking food orders. Can’t get an answer majority of the time calling front desk. 3. Three elevators and only one barely works! Stops at floor beeps and doesn’t open door randomly. No stairs going up floors only down to parking lot with door that locks with no handle to go back in. UNLESS 11PM LINES EVERY TIME YOU NEED TO GO UP OR DOWN!! 4. Stayed three days didn’t ask for any house keeping. On third day ask for two more towels from house keeping. Hours go by nothing. Call front desk again nothing. Go to front desk in person. We will send up soon as available. Hour nothing. Literally had to ask three different cleaning ladies in the halls to get towels. Took literally half the day to get towels. Never heard from original multiple front desk requests. 5. Air conditioner does not cool the room. Says 65 and feels 80. Ask for repair or another room and get run around all day until so tired and give up. Again no help from low effort horrible staff. 6. Walking barefoot in the room caused the bottoms of our feet to get so dirty it’s like we walked a mile barefoot on the street. 7. Do not disturb sign on the door and hotel staff in the hall having a screaming fight right outside my door. Again we understand there was a rush of evacuees but even when half of them check out the next day the service gets worse. Did the evacuees cause all the elevators to break and the front door to stop opening for awhile? I WISH I COULD GIVE YOU NEGATIVE STARS! DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE LITERALLY NO WHERE ELSE BUT YOUR CAR! Garbage company, garbage hotel and garbage low effort staff. I won’t be back. I said good day sir!

Nice hotel. Got a room on the top floor with a wonderful view of Hialeah. Clean swimming pool. Nice gym.

Horrible experience, stay there for Labor day weekend and they forgot to do the housekeeping one day, handler door broken, keys doesn't work properly, missing towels on the room,....Horrible use this for your last option, I WILL NEVER STAYING AT THIS PLACE NO MORE

I called Intercontinental for you. You have to have a credit card to reserve the room. Otherwise, if you cancel last minute, they lose money, and there is a charge. You also need a credit card for incidental charges like phone calls if not free, room service, breakfast, charges to the room. Some places may take a debit for incidentals, but most require a credit card for everything. It secures things for them. I have stayed there, and the housekeeping and restaurant staff mostly speak Spanish, and very little English.

Yes, this hotel has a free shuttle service to and from Miami Intl Airport. The shuttle leaves the hotel every hour on the hour and it takes between 25-30 minutes to get to the airport depending on traffic.

No but Westland mall is a 5 minute walk fm hotel. The Westland mall is five minutes away to walk.
From this location, you will need to look into a short flight from MIA or FLL to Orlando. Renting a car or looking into Brightline, which is a fast train to Orlando.

We have Westland mall just 5 minutes away from the hotel. Walking. Also stores like BJ's, Walmart a quick ride from us.
Many places are close by to buy ... even walking distance.
