Kelso WA Burgerville is open for customers inside again, and has reopened their outside picnic area. However, I don't like it when fast food employees ask for a tip, especially not a whopping 18%, 25%, or 30% tip. For this reason, I downgraded my rating from 5 to 3 stars. Traditionally, people don't tip at fast food places. During COVID, many people tipped at fast food restaurants because food workers were hurting and we wanted to help them. During COVID I tipped at fast food places, but that was a COVID thing. COVID is (mostly) over, Russian-Ukraine war is going on, and there's massive inflation. Everyone is financially hurting now. Prices on everything are up, especially fuel and food prices are way up. Then on top of that Burgerville (and some other fastfood places) employees are still encouraging (pressuring) customers to give big tips. I don't want to feel pressured to leave a tip at fastfood place, especially not a large tip. I'm financially hurting now too. Most people are hurting now. Please stop asking for tips at fastfood restaurants. There are still fast food places that don't panhandle for tips. From now on, I'm going to choose fast food places that don't ask for a tip. Note: The photos of Burgerville that I uploaded with my review are photos I took in 2019 (before COVID). I don't recall if in 2022 Burgerville has its flags flying again. In 2022 they have not put up their umbrellas at the picnic tables. When I've gone there in 2022, there have been fewer cars in parking lot and less customers than was the case in 2019. i.e. - in 2022 it's less busy than in 2019 when I took the photos.

An absolute fabulous place! I went through the drive through the other night, just peeking in the back window I seen the place is kept very very clean, the first window girl I think her name was Cas, very nice lady explains the card thing very well and was very clear that if I left a tip it goes to everyone on shift. I didn't have the money to spare so I couldn't tip. At the next window another lovely lady, Priscilla I think her name was handed me my drink and food and I was on my way! Everything was so hot and fresh! Can't wait till I visit again!

Burgerville is our go-to fast food restaurant when we have a few more minutes than the typical fast food joint offers. It takes them a bit longer to fill orders, but worth the wait. I love the variety of food, including their seasonal onion rings, garlic fries, amazing milkshakes, and Tillamook cheeseburgers. Can't go wrong! However, a fresh updated atmosphere inside would be nice!

We brought our kids for happy meals to burgerville. We were impressed with the organic juices, 100% grass fed burger and instead of a toy, the kids each got a pack of growing seeds!! Very cool!! We will be stopping back by on our drive home. 😀
