Room clean. Desk staff helpful. Loud kids in hallway till early hours. Charged Early Check-in fee ($25; $28+ after taxes & fees) for a 1- hr early check in (100 mile/90 min trip to hotel + 20 minutes to venue; wedding & check in both at 3pm). We needed to freshen up, so essentially were without options. We don’t check in early very often – but I’ve never been charged before for doing so… Especially an hour.

I very much enjoy this hotel! The rooms are clean and great. Beds are super comfy, and the rooms are also big! However up until now they’ve been the easiest. I have a wild schedule when in Point and so when I found this hotel and they were able to accommodate my early check ins and check outs with ease and at no extra cost, I was ecstatic! I was here almost every weekend from October 2021 -> March 2022. That was until now. I understand that an early check in or a late check out means a interruption in room cleaning services so I wont fault them for it. I get it. However, when I went to go check for early check in the front desk gal notified me it is now $25 to check in early(This just seems like nickel and dime pinching from a large company, but I digress.) I said “no worries I’ll wait till 3pm as I had graduation to attend.” When I then asked if that was a new thing, the front desk gal got huffy and puffy and a little more defensive than what a customer service standard is. I approached it with grace because I am certain other folks are not as nice, but that doesn’t mean that the reactionary response I received is appropriate. I doubled down and stated that it didn’t bother me as $25 is $25 but that I would just wait for the 3 pm check in time and was just curious. She then doubled down on the defensive. I stated again that it was no issue and walked away as I did not want to deal with the blatant reactionary disrespect. Hopefully when I return for normal check in I won’t receive such service but one that is much more respectable like what I am used to from the team normally.

Absolutely disgusting. Felt like something was off upon check in. There was areas in the hallways that were leaking water. Large puddles with no caution or wet floor signs. Just random large puddles... Ice machines were all beeping and they had no idea why they were doing such. It was super annoying. Then there's our room. Our room was gross. Hair in the sheets. Long hair on the tub and in the bathroom. Wore my shoes throughout the whole room. Food crumbs by night stand. In the morning we were looking for a bag for my son's suit. THERE WAS DIRTY CLOTHES IN THE DRESSER. Told front desk about this. How the room was gross. They said they would have a manager contact us. Nobody called. Called Tuesday after stay. Would not let me speak to manager without stating why. Left name number etc. Still no contact. We were with a large group for travel baseball. And this was the block hotel. For $125 this was absolutely disgusting and disappointing. Other things- Slide to pool is not in service No breakfast. Nothing offered at all. Total joke.

Quiet rooms, and a convenient location. Very good for a statewide meeting, central part of the state. Hotel restaurant/bar is good, and other dining options are a short walk away. Hotel is a little short staffed (mid-April 2022), probably due to pandemic related economic challenges.

Alot could change by June. I believe as of now they are required
Check with the hotel. They were under renovations in early 2019 and the pool area was closed during that time.
