I have always taken my pets here when it was Community Animal Hospital. Since the merger, they continually find new ways to be terrible. When we got a new puppy, we were told they would continue to see our cats, but to go elsewhere for the puppy. A few weeks ago I got an appointment reminder for my cat’s annual check up. The earliest they can set the appointment for is September…it’s June. When I called to make a September appointment, the automated system keeps saying no one is available to take my call and hangs up. To anyone reading this, take their own advice and go elsewhere.

Upon arriving 5 minutes late the receptionist was less than welcoming. I was told I may have to reschedule. After checking with the veterinarian Dr. Emily and her tight schedule I was told I had “no worries”. Might be because this would be $410.00 dollar bill. The vet tech was awesome as was Dr. Emily. Reason I was late is the construction on Highway 10 was massive by 39 N & S. Would be nice to have had a heads up. Would of left earlier.

Cat broke a leg, called and left a message, no call back. Went to the clinic to see if he could be seen, was told they don't do emergencies. Since Dr Tom left the clinic is garbage. Go to amherst! They are more affordable and willing to see your pet when something happens.

I’ve always had good experiences here. Last Friday, I called them due to one of my cats having an eye problem. One of the vets called me back in a timely manner explaining what it could be, and then proceeded to help me make a drop off appointment for the following Monday. Appointments always go smoothly and my cats are always well taken care of.

Oh geeze i hope they do NOT declaw cats!! Its being banned and against the law in countries and states now. Its a very cruel horrible experience for cats and causes them pain and suffering fir the rest of their lives. Its not natural and no GOOD vet will ever declaw cats, kittens or dogs and community animal hospital is a really good pet clinic so i doubt if its true that they declaw pets theres. Please do your research on how bad declawing really is people before you do something like this to your loving pet. If your furniture is more important than your pet you dont deserve a pet.
I would recommend to call and get a quote. Also they are a very busy clinic, you will want to call asap.
That i do not know, you would have to call them about that. They do accept Care Credit which is credit card & on that you can do payments on that. I have one just incase something goes really wrong with my pet.
I have used this vet hospital for 30plus years and there were times in the past years ago i had a pet emergency and did not have the full payment and they did work with me and had options so my so that my petcould be seen and treated.
They're a great vet. Highly recommended!
I believe i paid around $250.00 at community animal hospital but that included cleaning plus removal of the bad decaying teeth, medicine for pain and antibiotics and WELL worth it because bad teeth are main cause for liver, kidney and heart disease, respiratory problems, infections and other illnesses in pets especially small breeds.
There is an option to try for credit, I think its here https://www.carecredit.com/vetmed/
