We stayed for just one night while passing through St. Louis so we checked in at 1230 am. Staff was friendly and efficient, the hotel was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was on par with most hotel breakfasts I've had. Can't really ask for anything more for the price!

There for four nights no one came to clean the rooms, no new towels, trash never removed, everything in the room always felt damp, bathroom was gross with brown marks on the baseboard near the toilet. Breakfast was well stocked at least.

BUGS in the bed. Swarming under the pillows. We demanded a different room but still found the carpeted floor to be dirty and the room was musty smelling and reeked of disinfectant. It was raining outside and the parking lot was a giant puddle we had to walk through and unload the car in standing water. After getting home we had to wash & dry all our clothing and bedding to ensure we don't bring bedbugs into our house. We'll leave the suitcases outside overnight and hope they're bug free. We'll not stay at the Hampton Inn in Collinsville ever again. I thought 'Hilton' was supposed to one of the better chains so we paid extra to stay there.

The front desk staff check-in and check-out, was great, and friendly. They made sure we had a wonderful stay. Very clean. However the breakfast was not very appealing and the young lady who was working in that area was rude and not helpful when asked about breakfast option. Instead of being greeted with a nice good morning she said "Just so you know we close at 10". We still had 15 minutes and there was not any hot food out. As other guest arrived after us she sighed and rolled her eyes. That is not the impression you want guest to have. If I don't eat in the mornings I can manage, but children are different and could have been accomadated in some way.
