First visit was overall good mostly due to the very nice receptionist who helped me get ready for my first ever chiropractor adjustment. The 2nd doctor I visited with was much better than my first and I hope to see her more often!

The receptionist is nice. The doctor I found to be a little awkward and the adjustments hurt quite a bit when in the past my chiropractor visits had not been painful. Keep in mind you are not in a private room either, but there was only one doctor when I went and it is behind a wall from the waiting room. I voiced that the adjustments hurt but I felt it wasn't properly acknowledged. I decided not to continue, and was charged additional $70. I requested a refund because I had not returned and due to several factors I had not remembered to cancel. They "hook" you with a "wellness plan" that requires you to pay for so many visits right up front. Then they charge reoccurring after that. When you ask to cancel you have to either come in to fill out a form or fill out a form and email it. Expect to have to follow up to get confirmation as they wont confirm your cancelation automatically. They also refused to refund me despite having not visited in once in the past 3 months (they also never called to check in on why I didnt) and I requested a refund as soon as I noticed the charge. This place is more of a corporare money grab than a true professional medical office. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I have been a fan of chiro care for over 40 years and a long time patient of The Joint since I found the first one in Tucson, Arizona back in 2003. So, I was very happy when I moved back to the St. Louis area to find they now existed here. I frequent the Joint in Glen Carbon. Great chiropractic care at an affordable price and a doc who actually listens and fixes your pain complaints! I highly recommend The Joint.

I suffer from sciatica and nothing was helping until I started getting adjusted here. I swear by chiropractic treatment and you can’t beat the value. The plans are reasonable and the staff is great! I also love the convenience being able to walk-in and not having to make an appointment.
