⚾ baseball at it's best ! BELIEVE IT OR NOT... When I was 9 -12, I literally played pick-up ball exactly where ECU hosted Regional games ! (And at Dowdy-Ficklen too !) I Saw one very long Non home run ⚾ that was tipped off outfielders glove AND OVER fence...Thus becoming an ECU HR ! Largest crowds in 3 days in stadium history UNTIL ECU Also hosted Super Regional. But much of Clark-LeClaire activity was in a one-of-a-kind "The Jungle" of about 3,000 Pirates fans very young +old surrounding the entire outfield beyond the HR fence ! In spite of stories to the contrary... TheJungle crowd was well behaved. However, got very loud cheering for My home team Only saw one highly intoxicated person.
