After the sad departure of Kroger, Because they did not want to pay their workers livable fair wage, Safeway remains the best place to get daily items. I’m actually looking forward to the rebuild they’re going to do adding more affordable housing in the neighborhood, a new retail options. It’ll be great when it’s done

I gave this Safeway 4 stars, three years ago. Although Safeway is my favorite chain supermarket this location is not my favorite. All liquor and pharmacy products are behind another register inside the store with not enough checkers. On my most recent visit they also shut down customer service at 5:45pm due to staff shortages. I expect better.

Shopped at Safeway today and I love going to this location because of their parking lot! My cashier was DJ and he was absolutely delightful!! He provided great customer service and had a great energy about him! Thanks DJ for making my grocery shopping experience much more enjoyable, will definitely be coming back!

As Safeway stores go, this is small. They are fully stocked though. Good selection of all the typical items. All the staff have been friendly and helpful every time. Early morning shopping you get the whole place to yourself, however pharmacy, meat counter, and deli won't be open, as with all stores. Plenty of outside offstreet parking. Do take note: if you park at the far end of the lot the wheels on the cart will lock up about the time you reach the vehicle.

No not at this Store. The closest Safeway I can think of that has gas is the one down on Rainier Avenue about a half a mile south of Martin Luther King Jr. Way on the east side of Rainier Avenue or if you're on the west side of Seattle the Safeway on Roxbury at about 28th Ave .
Thats a bunch of!@#$%*^!!
I think is quite calm
Powered chairs at the western entrance right next to the elevators
I only know it opens at 10 am.
Usually busy when I'm there. Best bet is to park in the very north end of the parking lot by the loading days. Those spots are usually empty.
It snows enough to close places a day or two about once every ten years.
Yes - these other responses are outdated/wrong. They even put a sign out front that says they make keys.
