Great afternoon visit for my four year old son and me. The hour-long ride is well worth the price of a ticket. Have been twice and will definitely go again!

Yes you can. I bought my ticket at the office and got there about 45 minutes early and then went and had lunch in town and then came back about 10 minutes before boarding
Our layout in the baggage car is O gauge.
There is a model train if I recall correctly. I don't think they offer a dinner train. The rides aren't very long but still enjoyable with one stop at another station (based on the old steam engine ride I took).

No fees for the museum. The train was not running for serving the public.

South of the Nelson Crossing Depot, we have one on display in our yard area.
I believe they only operate on weekends except special occasions like Tuesday July 3rd for a special Independence Day ride. They have a website.
