Yes, the are. we just went camping there. It says no swimming or wading at the beach,but people were in the water anyway.

There are three swim beaches that I know of in Keysport, Carlyle Dam West (by sailboat marina) and one in Bolder campground. The visitors center has a map. Have fun!
