Love this camp sight. Decent showers and bathroom. Each sight has a grill/fire pit. Water access throughout. Electric at every sight or primitive camping area. Cabins available and sights w beautiful views to reserve. And almost every sight has some view of the lake. Beautiful lake. Lots of trails to hidden little beaches and coves. Quiet, peaceful. But lots of kids for my kids to play with. The hosts were very nice and informative when we first arrived. Two tents per sight. And they also have lots of activities every weekend. Oh and they also have camping all year. My husband and my kids and I loved it!

Great clean pool! Great bike riding! Shower houses need to be torn down and rebuilt. No soap in the bathrooms.and out houses, really? The state can do better with tourism. Missouri state parks are beautiful! Compared to this.

Great, inexpensive campground on the lake. Electric hookups on site, potable water and dump station in several places. Bathhouses.

Always a great time camping at Hazlet. Watch out for skunks! Four stars only because some campers don't pick up after themselves and leave trash for the next visitors.

Not sure either but if I remember there are more walk-in camping spots than reservable, and there are over 200 spots when fully opened. We camped there last week and MANY spots were open. The back camping area wasn't even open. The back area was supposed to open in April.
Currently the park is closed, gate across the entrance. But there are plenty of boat ramps and places to fish

Yes! There are many conservation officers working there. Also an officer from the army corps of engineers.

Yes, the campground is open year round. They do close a section of it during the winter.
