This will be my 1st and last year doing sports with them. Parking and location is very bad. I thought Norfolk was unorganized. I will be returning to blocker.

Refuses to offer a refund for a sport my child can not play due to circumstances outside of my control. I do not want a credit as there is nothing he can do that works in our schedule (all practices and games seem to fall on time he is court ordered to visit his father). The alternatuve would've been karate but thats in a location far from us and at a time hes with his father.. He was in tball and basketball and we did not have a schedule till the week before the first practice. I'm baffled as to how they are with cancelation policies when things come up that are out of your control and there aren't a lot of programs to even choose from. I want a refund not credit.

Very clean. Great location. Love the sauna. The staff is simply amazing. One staff member that stands out extremely well is Elizabeth. She explains everything very detailed. I would strongly recommend using Greenbrier family.

Hi there! We absolutely offer teen/adult swim lessons. Here is a link to learn more! https://www.ymcashr.org/programs/swimming/swim-lessons
Hi Hazel, an individual membership is $63/month. We also offer income-based rates.
Hi Hazel, we do. We have water fitness classes and also open swim times and time you can reserve a lap lane for exercising on your own.
Right now, the Y closes at 2pm on Friday
The indoor pool will open on Monday, June 22 for lap swimming. At present, we are only able to provide swimming for exercise per state guidelines in Phase 2.
Ms. Hyman, my best advice is to call the Y. They have different membership programs such as the Open Door Program to help offset costs for qualifying people
Hi Joseph! They do not at the Greenbrier Family YMCA, but they do accept it at the Indian River Family YMCA, the Hilltop Family YMCA, the YMCA of Portsmouth and the South Boston/Halifax County YMCA
Hi Raven- They do not have summer pool passes at the Greenbrier Family YMCA. You would need to be a member of the Y to access the pools on a regular basis. You may come visit as a guest for a visit to see how you like the Y. You can visit ymcashr.org to try a free week!
Locals get 3 passes a year. The first is free, the second it's $5, the third is $10. Bring a form of ID when you get the first pass.
