Of the three Churches I've gone to in the HR area, this had the familiar feel I was looking for.

I’m trying to make it there but it seems people keep getting in the way. I tried coming for mass on Thursday but was deterred by some very unpleasant people. Ask God send the answer so I can come to mass. I miss saying the Rosary and being in the presence of the truly spiritual and loving people of the Catholic Church. I sent my daughter a rosary for Christmas but the family is keeping me from mass due to their beliefs. I’ve visited once and was very impressed and found solace there. God Bless.

Great place to worship

Mass is held most every day. You can find all mass times on the parish calendar linked here: http://ssmrcc.org/home/mass-times/
Call the rectory and speak to Father Brian but I believe Vivian is correct
Yes.
According to the church website, Father Jim Gordon is Head Pastor at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Ashland, VA (just north of Richmond). Best arrived at from here by taking I-64 West to exit 200, then I-295 by-pass around Richmond. Take exit 43 off that onto I-95 North. At Exit 92-B, go into Ashland. Look at church website for final directions and address. Father Jim is as good as they get. I can understand why you might want to reconnect with him.
Yes. There's Christian Formation for elementary, middle, and high school students on Sunday at various times. Children's Liturgy of the Word during the Gospel and homily for pre-First Communion aged children. Go to ssmrc.org for complete information.
Darlene, go to http://ssmrcc.org for more information, but the 3PM on 24th is geared towards children...VERY popular Mass though.
