Simple, quick and easy to apply. You'll probably find a job the very same day. Awesome staff, very helpful, informative and friendly. Personally, I couldn't have wished for a better experience

Uncaring and unprofessional. I am currently working for 1st builders in Cowpens, SC through Ambassador Staffing. I was offered 2 different positions at 1st Builders in Cowpens. They were similar but had one major difference. The difference between the two positions is that the first position requires constant lifting of 25lbs and the second position requires constant lifting of 100lbs. I told Ms.Makenzie, the agent who offered me the positions, that I would take the job that only required 25lbs of continuous lifting because of health and physical reasons and also I am not physically capable of lifting 100lbs continually even withoutthe health issues. She said she understood. Fast forward to the first day on the job. Orientation goes well, though one thing that alarmed me was during the Q&A portion of Orientation, when we were told that the positions each of us were told we were assigned to and described to us would not necessarily be the position we would be working. I took a mental note of that in case that proved true in my case. It was true in my case. I was put on the job I couldn't do which was, as I stated earlier, the job that requires 100lbs of continuous lifting. Also, to my surprise, the two positions I were offered were actually only one. Not only was I having to work the position I stated I couldn't perform when being offered work through Ambassador, the job they gave me and the job I agreed to were combined. Whether that was for lack of enough personnel or trying to cut costs or anything else is unknown to me. Regardless, I was performing both jobs. Furthermore, I was at a disadvantage because I had to keep up with two people on two different positions, each of them had a work bench and their own work space. I performed the same task they did except I did not have a table to place my work(which requires me to bend and lift all day instead of working at waist level like my coworkers). I handled the job as best I can until lunch. I call Ms. Makenzie at Ambassador and tell her what has happened and reminded her that I told her I couldn't take the position with the heavier lifting. She told me that if they changed my position there was nothing she could do about it. I politely told her OK and that I would do what I can to make everything work and I have. I have spoken with Ambassador, spoken with the coordinator who did my orientation at 1st Builders in Cowpens, and written a review after the first two options to correct the situation failed. I have been professional and courteous to all parties involved and I still am. As of the time of writing this review, I'm am still employed at 1st Builders in Cowpens, SC through Ambassador Personnel in Gaffney, SC. I wrote this review while still employed in the hopes that the issue gets resolved correctly by putting me on the position I signed up for and agreed to and only that position. I also wrote this review while still employed with them so it cannot be claimed that I am a disgruntled former employee trying to do harm to their reputation. South Carolina is a "Right to Work" and basically, for those who don't know what that means, is that they can terminate me for any reason, even this review, which I am well aware of being the case, though I wrote it anyway because I'm tired of paying taxes to a state that allows companies to operate here with very low accountability and very low cost and are protected by laws that allow them to treat their employees, South Carolina taxpayers, who work hard and provide them with quality service when in their employ and allow them to be more profitable than they are in the 49 other states. End note: This review and rating will be updated and resubmitted when the situation changes, better or worse.
