Very nice park. Currently the pond is suffering from an algae bloom so contact with the water is not recommended.

Loved the park because of the area and separate area for small dogs, however because of the algae bloom my dog got very sick. He was bleeding out of his behind consistently for two days and had horrible diarrhea. Park needs to be closed until algae is gone because it can seriously harm or kill your pet.

Lots of some kind of algae in the water, especially on main beach.

Fantastic dog park. Went here multiple times while visiting Hastings. Was able to pull my 30’ trailer in for lunch once with plenty of room to turn around. Dogs loved the water and everyone we met was nice. Would stop here again traveling across country on I-80. Its not too far off the interstate.
