Nice facility and near many restaurants. The complimentary breakfast is one of the best I've had from a Fairfield Inn...lots to choose from. Pool was good but the whirlpool was too foamy.

Wow. That sums up our stay at the Fairfield in Grand Island. Perhaps this place was so impressive because the last place we stayed was so abysmal, but I don't think so. Our room was surprisingly large, very clean, well maintained, with incredibly comfortable beds/pillows, and the kind of at home comfort you do not expect from a hotel. Breakfast was considerably nicer than any other hotel I have stayed, the swimming pool was large & fun, staff were attentive and friendly, location is spectacular with numerous restaurants very close by, and the parkings areas were large & well lit. The only criticism I could think of, and it is nit picky, is that the exhaust system in the bathroom took some time to circulate the steam out. If that is the worst thing this place has to offer, you can consider it to be THE place to stay in Grand Island area.

Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Excellent breakfasts. Excellent staff, and the manager, Diane, is a real treat. We'll definitely come back the next time we need to stay in Grand Island

Our experience here is about what you would expect from a Marriott hotel. The room was clean and they had the usual amenities. We brought our 5th grade basketball team here. The place was busy, but the staff was still friendly. The window to the pool was a life saver. A bunch of boys in the pool room brought the decibels up too high for us, so we stood out in the hall. No drinks are allowed in the pool, but some of us had them anyway. They told us we couldn't bring in food to the dining area, but some did anyway and it didn't seem like a problem to me. The breakfast in the morning was good and well stocked. I didn't get my waffles though because of the line. The check in and check out process was easy. They charge a $25 incident fee that they refund if everything checks out ok.

I don't believe so. Last time I was there, earlier this year, they weren't.
