Their rental management authorized the eviction of a woman who rented over 15 years with steady payment. She is disabled. When they asked the real estate company the rental agent rudely stated they don't have to provide an explanation. They tried to say it was the owner, but she had only seen this owner two times in all the years. It was a heartless move and I would not do business with a company that works that way.

On May 25, 2022 Real Estate Agent JESSE DEMELLO of RE/MAX PALM REALTY listed my property in North Sarasota for sale. He did this without our knowledge or consent, or permission - including posting it on MLS along with photos taken by a drone. Obviously, no due diligence was done because the property was contiguous to our home with common fencing and no one contacted us at this home before the property was listed. We discovered the listing when a neighbor informed us My Wife immediately verified that the property had been listed, contacted the number listed on the MLS, advised them that we had not listed this property for sale, did not know the agent and wanted them to take down the listing immediately. This was not done. Instead, a text message (not a phone call) was sent from MR. DEMELLO saying that "team members" had been communicating with him to list the property, that they might not be the rightful owners. He refused to take the listing down until my Wife texted him an ID. She would never send an ID to a stranger. He did not call on the phone, did not come to the site to meet with us, he did not remove the listing and I assume he never contacted his "team members" His attitude can best be described as flippant and unconcerned. Sarasota Police Department had to become involved in this before the listing was removed. It was not taken down until 24 hours after RE/MAX PALM REALTY were notified about this. To date we have NOT received an apology from RE/MAX PALM REALTY for their involvement in this matter, nor have they taken any steps other than to pull the listing. The photos have not been pulled and MR. DEMELLO'S attitude toward this can best be described as cavalier. Leslie T Kettring Gary Kettring

I was contacted via text regarding my property for sale by owner. The other party claiming to be a Remax agent Jessica was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I looked up the # Jessica Vogt was listed as the match for the agent. I called the broker and we researched together to find out that this is a spoofing call. Bill (the broker) was extremely patient and helpful resolving this and working to find out what had actually gone wrong. Jessica Vogt is not the one responsible for the text and this firm went above and beyond to resolve this issue.
