Thank you for your question. Those are all great areas for our Aqualipo procedure. Yes, we can take care of all your areas in a one-time procedure. Liposuction is not designed to remove cellulite, but it does tighten your skin as well as remove your fat. The price will depend on several factors which we can best determine in a personal consultation with our plastic surgeon. Once we see a patient in person, we will be better able to determine whether we recommend a procedure, as your results will depend on your body type and build. We currently offer consultations free of charge through January, a $50 value, and hope you contact our office and schedule a consultation!
CoolSculpting is designed to freeze fat cells and subsequently flush them out naturally through your bodily functions. It typically requires several repeat treatments to be effective. With Aqualipo, the fat is immediately gone after one procedure that lasts 1-2 hours. It uses water and laser energy to dislodge and remove fat cells. Compared to fat removal with CoolSculpting, Aqualipo achieves much more visible results with a one-time procedure vs repeat treatments.
Aqualipo does not require any general anesthesia. Your liposuction at NuBody Concepts is done while you are awake and comfortable. Any discomfort will be alleviated with local anesthesia and IV sedation as needed. Your recovery is typically fast, allowing you to resume most day to day activities within 24 hours.
Most patients are able to resume regular activities, including work, within 1-2 days after their Aqualipo procedure. Strenuous lifting or heavy exercise should be avoided for up to 2 weeks.
Thank you for your interest in NuBody Concepts Plastic Surgery. Unfortunately there is no surgical procedure that removes visceral fat. It is deep behind the abdominal wall. The only way to lose this type of fat is diet and exercise. Other types of fat respond well to our NuBody Lipo procedure, and a tummy tuck is also another great option when there is excess skin after weight loss.
