My wife and I rented 2 kayaks on 8/7/2021 and went all the way to the beach and back. What an amazing 5 hour trip. The owners are awesome and very accomodating. We’re hooked for life and will do again soon!!!

My first time with a kayak. Great place for a beginner. They were very helpful to pick a kayak and get started with some advice. The river trail was peaceful and we had a great time exploring it.

Kayaking the Siltcoos was a great experience and well worth the money. Gary was very friendly and the process was simple...in and out from the dock with no lugging of kayaks. Paddling past the damn and to the beach and back took us about 3 hours. Lots of changing landscape starting with the thick forests and transitioning to dunes/seagrass. We definitely recommend Gary’s rentals for a fun half day trip.

You dont need a shuttle, on the Siltcoos river you can easily paddle both directions
They have a wide variety of canoes to rent.
